AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS!
Roybal LC has been acknowledge as part of the CollegeBoard's AP School Honor Roll for the past two years.
In 2024, Roybal was awarded the Silver AP Honor Roll level. This means that more than 50% of students have taken an AP class while in high school, more than 30% of students have passed their AP exam and received college credit while in high school, and more than 5% of students took more than 5 AP classes while in high school.
We have also received the AP Access Award from the CollegeBoard the last two year. This is awarded is given to schools when the percentage of underrepresented and/or low income students accessing the school's AP program is the same as, other greater than the percentage in the school's graduating class.

AP EXAMS
Students who take AP classes are expected to complete the AP exam associated with the class. When students take the exam and earn a score of 3 or higher, they become eligible for college credit.
The CollegeBoard dictates the exam dates, which cannot be changed, so students should arrive on time and be prepared to take their exam at the appointed time.
