Edward R. Roybal Learning Center is the number one school in English & Maths proficiency amongst high schools in the Belmont Zone of Choice. We are comprised of four thematic small learning communities that focus on medicine, business & finance, computer science, and social work & child development. We also have a magnet program open to students within and outside of the Belmont Zone of Choice, iCAMP, that focuses on film and music production. We offer a broad range of academic opportunities such as the AP Capstone course to a Dual Language program. Our athletics program is on the rise and our basketball and baseball teams are recent champions.

Congratulations on soon reaching an important milestone in your educational career, the beginning of your high school career. We know that transitioning to high school is an exciting time, especially as you decide what high school to attend. At Roybal, we understand how important this choice is and want to take a moment to ensure that you are well informed about the benefits of becoming a Roybal Titan.
Roybal Learning Center has established multiple academic programs and instituted new curricular measures to meet the learning interests of all our students.

Roybal continues to witness the transformation that is possible when the focus of our work is the instruction
and learning taking place in our students’ classrooms. The graduation rate was increased to 95%. We are now the best academic school (non-magnet) in the Belmont Zone of Choice demonstrated by the highest California English and mathematics proficiency rates ensuring your children are university ready.
We will host two Zoom presentations for students and parents to give you an opportunity to learn more about what our school has to offer. You will have the opportunity to meet some of our talented teachers, counselors, and administrators and learn about the transformational learning happening in our classrooms. We will provide the dates, times, and Zoom information on our website.
