Scholarships & Financial Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the California Dream Act Application (for undocumented students) open on October 1.
 

Items needed to complete your financial aid application:

Students will need the following information:
1. Full legal Name, Social Security Number*
2. Parent Taxes for 2021*
3. Parent Full Name
4. Parent Birthday
5.Student email Address

*If students have a social security number but parents do not file taxes, students can still apply; please see Ms. Jimenez.
*If students do not have a social security number and parents do OR do not file taxes, students can still apply please speak to Ms. Jimenez.
 
 
Students fill out the FAFSA if the following apply:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • U.S. Permanent Resident
  • In possession of an I-94 with a designation refugee
 
Students fill out the California Dream Act if the following apply:
  • Undocumented
  • Have a valid or expired DACA
  • U Visa holders Have Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
  • Meet the non-resident exemption requirements under AB 540, SB 2000, SB 68

Open to juniors and seniors, a free statewide conference in Sacramento. No money awarded.

Asian Pacific Fund

Bureau of Indian Education and the American Indian College Fund -BIA provides resources and scholarships for Native American students.

Gates Millennium Undergraduate Scholars Program
This scholarship provides both undergraduate and graduate school financial aid to students from underrepresented backgrounds.

Essay contest with a scholarship reward. The AIAA foundation awards scholarships to students who are part of science or engineering programs

 Southern California Garden Club ScholarshipThe scholarships are available to three outstanding high school seniors or college students. To receive the scholarship, a student must be accepted and enrolled in a two or four-year college or university in a program focusing on Horticulture, Botany or a related major.

Italian Catholic Federation

Association of Educational office Employees

LCareer Technical Education Scholarship. -To be eligible applicants must  be high school seniors, have a minimum 2.85 GPA, be planning to attend a Community College or vocational program, and demonstrated school or community service activities.

Davidson Fellows Scholarship
To be eligible applicants must be high school seniors and be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. 

You Deserve it Scholarship
To be eligible applicants must be high school seniors and residents of the United States. 

Aero Club of Southern California Scholarship -To be eligible applicants must be planning to pursue classroom studies in aviation or aerospace, full time students now and when scholarship will be used, and submit typewritten statement

Milken Scholars 
Scholarships for students who have academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, as well as school and community service. These students have also overcome social, economic, or other obstacles. (You need to be nominated via College Counselor) 

CAA Youth Scholarship
Grants for children of Law Enforcement and Fire Service Personnel.

Hamilton Scholars Award
